What we're up to right now ....

TRANSITion: From fields to Ford and beyond

We are midway through a Heritage Lottery Funded community history project exploring the story of one small site and how its many industrial transformations - from Cunliffe Owen Aircraft to Briggs Motor Parts and the Ford Assembly Plant - link to Southampton's rich manufacturing heritage. Now it is being redeveloped into a state-of-the-art logistics hub tying in with Southampton's new status of 'gateway to the world'.

Thanks to National Lottery players we are involving Southampton people in researching, planning and creating an innovative, immersive pop-up museum launching in the Swaythling area in 2018.
